Several died right after arrival - Are they sick?

I think the lesson here is you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS quarantine your fish, no matter what representations are made by the seller. I follow Rodney on Facebook and seen his videos. He makes it very clear that his procedures and the instant quarantine additive product he ships with his fish should not replace your current QT procedure. I hate to say it, but the blame unfortunately falls on you (adding a fish shipped 2,000 miles away in a box directly to an established reef tank with thousands of dollars of fish).

Hello everyone, I have been down, very sad, as now (just yesterday) I lost other 9 fishes, my beaufitul Gem tang, Black tang, purple tang, 2 yellow tang, 1 dory, powder blue tang, sumatran tang, chevron tang, still another 3 in my system of 230 gallons but they are all sick, even on QT...they are dying one after other...thanks for the support...the worst thing is Paypal wants me to get a doctor that can evaluate that the fish were really sick in order to refund me the $1450. I requested by email a doctor from Boston that I was referedand waiting her email. I took screenshots from the comments here and they say is not legal

I know it's difficult. The list of fish that you've lost is heartbreaking! You said you still have three fish left? If you do nothing, they will die too, and even if you do medicate now, sadly, the remaining fish may be too far gone to save. Velvet is unforgiving. If you have not started copper or CP treatment yet, you really need to start dosing immediately. If you don't know how or need guidance, please let us know. There are many here who are very knowledgeable in quarantine and proper dosing procedures. If you've started medicating, can you describe your procedures?

I am so sorry you are experiencing this painful loss. Every fish I've ever lost from cheap little blennies to my favorite puffer fish, Puff Daddy, has been a hard pill to swallow. We take on the responsibilities of janitors, waiters, and doctors when we bring these beautiful creatures into our homes. It behooves us to do the best jobs we can for their sakes.

Sorry man but don’t give up on the hobby. This can be a very discouraging event but think of moving forward and having a successful reef.

This is the most courage forum and group ever. I never had so many support like here. And sure @Sashaka its painful not just because the money but the fish itself. Thanks @Frtdrmrose7 for the words. I even though about. But I won’t give up. I will persist. And one day will sure my success with all of you

i just got fish from him. lasted 3 days. he did hold fish for me a while (all paid in full) bc we had a storm. then he was out of town. then it was too cold. the one died. then rushed to ship in even colder weather and the fish were banged up. my whole md is compromised.
