I'm sorry if these have been asked before but my google-fu is not that good and I cannot find the answer to any of these.
I have finally started dosing this week which is very exciting but my weekly water change is coming up and I am trying to figure out how I dose and do water changes. Do I dose the day of, before or after the water change? What keeps the water the most stable?
Second I was given a rock anemone from a friend and since I know they are on beginner lists I thought it would be fine. However, it has decided to set up shop in a place that is inaccessible for me to target feed. How do I feed it? Would it be fine with the reef roids that naturally get in the water everyday? Will it move if it finds the place not good for food? Or should I set up my air pump and force him to find a better place?
My aquarium is doing pretty okay, if I say so myself and I am finding myself thinking of fragging a few pieces. How do you frag a coral that is growing into a rock I can't remove from the aquarium? I don't want to cut the coral and watch it die from stupidity.
Final question. Aiptasia. I got it. First coral I put in months ago. I thought I killed it with Aiptasia X however I found some in a corner I don't usually look at which made me think. When do I know that it is all dead and out of the system or is this one of those things that I can never truely get rid of. I might buy some peppermint Shrimp my LFS feed their peppermint shrimp Aiptasia but I have a 150 and I found 3 last week and none the last 2 months so I am worried that he shrimp will be a foolish purchase.
Once again you guys are a great help. Thank you.
