I have the same issue with my beta fish it’s been 2 weeks since he had popeye eyes at first I reached out to the store and as suggested got him melafix. I did see changes within a week but it’s only with one eye. It’s been 2 weeks and the other eye didn’t get cured. He isn’t eating anything and I’m completely worried. Can someone please explain the process to be done to save my fish. It’s the first time this Situation and confused with diff suggestions.

You'll need real antibiotics which will be hard to come by in Canada.

A pic under white light will help assess, but if its one eye, may be a scratch or post-injury not requiring any. If cloudy or inflamed - ethromyacin (maracyn 1)

Salt is rendered useless in a marine environment which already contains salt and minerals
This method is effective in freshwater using epsom salt
True, but I didn't see anything that indicated the betta in question was a marine betta. Could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time haha
