i have had it for about a month and a half.... it's a little bigger than a golf ball.... right now i am having a little issue with the guy he sits up at the highest peak in my tank getting cooked under tons of light so some of that pop is gone... i just shaded him yesterday in efforts to bring it back but regardless it's till the nicest nem i have ever seen in my life..... even mine that's colored down a tad will blow anything away i have ever seen lol....

Since u r dealing with it and i am considering to buy one got few questions...

Nope working on that now... It lost it over the course of a month.... Here it is today sorry not the greatest picture...Still a wonderfull red color but lost the real intense pop and yellow tips...

Heres a gonzos signature sunburst nem, all mine are natural splits this strain has been in colorado for a little over 8 years.

Good to hear they are from Natural Splits.


Usually smaller size means someone sliced it up. These anemones go through alot more stress then a natural split and may take time to color and recover more.

Does the OP have a fully formed mouth?

People gotta remeber an anemone splitting is not a good thing. They split because they feel threatened or harmed. The amounth of energy that goes into splitting is high, It shouldnt even be called reproduction. It is a defense mechanism
