Sexy shrimp: where'd they go?

I got 5 sexy shrimp two days ago. When I first added them, they latched on to one of my Duncans and I counted 4 of the 5 near by well into last night. But today I haven't seen them at all the Duncan was out when they were in him, but now he's all closed up like he's either missing his new buddies or angry they tickled him all day yesterday. But no sexy shrimp that I can find.

Any tricks to finding them. I've read they should be out and about even during the day and will host in rock nems, of which I have plenty. I've. Checked every on and no shrimp in sight though.

Not familiar with sexy shrimp but I would look for predators or in the filter . Is it possible the Duncan’s could have closed up on them as a snack ? Hoping for the best . I know when I add new inverts at times they will hide til they don’t feel threatened .

They will move around a fair bit, I find that at night mine like to be on a back wall or up high climbing on something, but they will usually have a cave or anemone that they will move towards when something comes by - they're a bit shy with a flashlight beam, so maybe that's a way to stir up some movement.

Otherwise during the day, they're not necessarily afraid of being out in the open, but mine tend to prefer back/undersides of rocks for the most part.

I saw what I think was the biggest one again yesterday, but not since. Perhaps I just need patience, the constant refrain in this hobby.

I have been looking as well. LFS got some last week finally and they were so small I had to pass. Yes I know they are small anyway but these were Ridiculous for $15.
