Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. The ice helped to reduce swelling /stuck. After a bit with ice I was able to see enough to cut it out. Im not sure it would have gotten out had I not intervened.

Thanks for the suggestion of isolation box. I wish I had a spare 10 gallon tank. (Will be getting)

Ryan and Jennifer asked us to help them move from a 125 to a 180. Stefan (my son) was the grunt. I would separate the rocks and coral. I would yell what I was sending over. Stefan would carry it over. Ryan set up. It was a lot of fun. I think it turned out great.

there's a 90 that we pulled fish from and moved them to the 180.

Yes, it does. But, I think kids being involved in that "crap" helps them grow into real live adults. I'm sorry about the nem, too. If you want to hear a horror story, ask my kids about "upgrading" from my 46 to the 90. The stress and the Rubbermaid containers were just about unbearable....;Joyful

I got a txt yesterday morning.our friends Ryan and Jennifer gave us the 90 gallon tank. Deciding upstairs or basement.
Should I build the stand or buy one. I found a new one in the box for 60

I love diy stuff.... it just never looks as good as whats in my brain... if you have the skills diy all the way!

I built mine...my only suggestions are don’t make it 44” tall and make a ledge around the outside for drinks, food, test supplies, a place to put your foot if you need to reach in the back of your too tall tank on your too tall stand
