Yep a couple of months back a good chuck broke off. I was not pleased looking back it was a blessing
This was about 1/3 the size when it broke off.

It sucked but could have been much worse. I could have lost all of it.

Flipped blues on this morning. There's green in the midst of the white. I hope this means it didn't all die and will come back in those spots.

Weird hope this can happen. I think I've got a hammer rebudding out of a dead head. Didn't even think that was a thing.

Yep it happens. Thats why I don't toss dead coral. You just never know

Yep, old tank had a "coral graveyard" (patch with dimmer light & lower flow) where all "dead" corals went for a few months before being pulled. Many of them came back & got placed back out in the tank.

Looks like I need to keep an eye on her for a bit. Rock or tang I'm not sure but ouch.
