Sfin's Dream.

For reals yes.

Very nice! Two of my brothers keep bees. I'll probably have hives some day, but I'm too busy with other interests and already conveniently can get the honey from my brothers and can let them care for the hives.

WOW awesome and thanks! We just saw a story on the news last night about a bee vaccine to help save the bees.
It's gonna be tough to get them all on board with the shots but hey.

My husband is an entomologist but doesn’t work with bees
I'm a no kill bee orkin man. I don't do mosquito work because of the environmental impact. I've even talked customers out of mosquito work. My bosses may have a problem with that but I don't. A hired Killer with a conscience.

Apparently it a liquid that the queen eats and passes it on to the larvae so it won’t help the adults now but will protect the next generation from what ever it is that killing so many bees

We always decline that service!

They don't take up too much room.

You can put them in any backyard unless you are allergic. We have had up to 4 hives but the winter has killed them all off over the years.

We've only got a 1/4 acre here in S. FL and three dogs plus an older cat (17.5 years). One dog is, shall we say, very high energy and highly curious. She notices any and every change we make inside or outside of our home and MUST check any and all changes out. One dog is small (Chihuahua). I couldn't take the risk on the Chihuahua getting stung up because of the curiosity and hyperness of the Bully. We do, however, get our honey from a local grower that's only about 10 minutes away.

There is an episode on one the documentary series that covers how corrupt and what you really get when buying most store-bought honey. I cannot recall the name of the series or episode now but will say it was very good!

As you should. It kills the small insects that hummingbirds eat, kills all the natural insect predators, kills all kinds of pollinators this also includes the male mosquitoes.

BTW - as long as we are "bee speaking"; there's an episode on Joe Rogan in which he talks with a bee expert. It was super interesting. Or it was to me but I may or may not be odd.
