What happened with Nature's Select? I was there a few weeks ago and they barely had anything. Are they not getting saltwater shipments as often as they used to?

Where are you guys getting your livestock from now? Is Fish Man still open?
Fishman is, i get random frags from him here and there. Most of my fish from there and most of my coral from @fishguy242 or online.

They are hot garbage. Been that way for about 5 yrs

-They won't buy anything off anybody or issue store credit.
- Thier live rock is always beached and rinsed before being sold as lr.
- was a premium dealer for seachem so will only stock a few supplements besides the full line of seache.
- push seachem products to the the detriment of tanks.
- when getting coral and dipping no timer and no measurement. They pour till it looks good. Same with copper in sales tank
-sold expired products knowing they where expired
-frozen food won't carry lrs even after customers asked for it for yrs.

I could go on for a bit longer but I'll stop here.

Sailfin in Champaign is having their saltwater sale this weekend. 30% off on all of their saltwater livestock. They usually stock up right before their sale days so I'm tempted to drive over and see if they have anything worthwhile.

I got in an argument with the owner over their live rock. :D

He tried telling me that he carried premium live rock (with a premium price tag) and I argued, "How? There is nothing living on any of it except for some algae." He didn't like that. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Fish man has some fish very little coral. Has some supplies.

Most of us go coral crib Bloomington, st louis seascape, corner reef (get ready to open pocket book charges primo prices for coral do not buy fish from them) gateway aquatics burnt down will prob be 6 months before anything starts with them. Seascapes is a great place for fish and coral. @Goawthey had some beautiful ribbon eels. 399 if i remeber right

never bee to chi town but they have some great stuff.

@fishguy242 has a great line up of corals if you are interested at fair price points. Bit of a drive but worth it.

399 is very expensive. I got my girl for 200 free shipping.

And @fishguy242 is just worth a visit. He's an actual friend.

Hit sand as soon as released. Out this morning sometime around 1000.

I skinned two guys at TSA…..they thought they were right about thinking true sand sifting gobies can’t be kept with tangs and should be the first addition to a tank before anything….and that a Chocolate tang and a red coris would work long term in a IM INT 60……let’s just say the person that came in for the tang and wrasse learned more from me than from the two guys…….both guys don’t work there anymore :face-with-tears-of-joy:
