A little more information is warranted. I have 2 noops over the reef. The t5 where added for saturation. The t5 is not needed.

The t5 where 4 bulb hydroplanet. A while back the middle two ballast went out. The out side bulbs just went out.

But, did the t5 also help with shadowing? LEDS don't cover like t5's do.

If he has the noops high enough he might have decent coverage. T5s certainly help though.

That they did but it doesn't look like anything really flinched. Some look better

Had a small jeabo not working this morning. I had time to take it apart and give it a quick cleaning. Started up like a champ. I do believe it was a limpet that caused the issue.

Yeah I got lots of baby Trochus snails(they breed like mad) and they get in my gyres so I have to go in dig them out of the blades. I am looking at the new nero7 but I love the way gyres work.

Its a double edge sword with these guys. They do a great job cleaning but so small they get stuck in places.

You are not kidding they clean fantastic but yeah they get stuck in the pumps once a month. I have 2 urchins that wipe my tank clean so going to toss most the babies when they get in the pumps.

The captive bred Variegated captive bred like at ORA. They clean like no other and the amount of different algae's they eat are a big plus.

I just have the rock urchin he's a best. Keeps the corline in check. Never leaves the glass or pick up frags. Once and a while it will flip my frag racks

Thats also the reason I have a foxface.
