Im looking to replace salt and looking at the aquaforrest line. Rc and Io are incredbily high. . Aquaforrest has 200g thats about the same as IO. Would this be a good switch from RC?

See above suggestions greatly needed
I know a few people running aquaforest does it mix close to the same parameters? Is it just due to the price increase? How do you plan on doing the switch? I think you would be fine switching over havent heard a whole lot of bad stuff i know a guy that knows a guy that robbed a guy so I can get 3 160g buckets for 80$ locally (aka petco know the fish dept. Manager) but i have noticed the steady rise each month..

Ya its a cost thing. Rc is 66 for a 150 bucket. Last time i bought 150g bucket it was 44.

Where are you going for purchase? If you go to petco and show them the online sale price of 44 (typically) they will honor it and have to per the manager of petco...i just keep a screen shot of it and show them the same one everytime so no matter what they honor it. In store at petco is a huge increase the manager told me to always have the website price pulled up which decreases it dramatically....so again screen shot the check out screen and show it everytime at checkout.

Is this the aquaforest pro biotic mix? Or there regular salt mix?

Ok well.... there regular reef salt mix isn't a bad deal and the parameters seem to be good as well.....here is a chart....what parameters do you keep your reef at?

Have already said, yes , swing by pick up 4 tomorrow if you like at 45 per , 160 bucket IO...
Let me know if you want , so I can get more ,welcome to 4 more next month and so on... ;)

This is why I am looking at switching over to the moonshiners method. I still plan on doing water changes (not as often or as much) but the reef has taken off and is sucking up nutrients. It's gotten to the point where weekly water changes have to be done to keep up. I have been dosing kalk and have a doser set up but I need a more permanent fix. The upfront cost is a bit brutal but will be less in the long run then salt for the year. At least for me and my system.

Update io 200g went on sale. Im buying thah.
omg wish I had that scratch laying about! Crazy sale! 40% off!
