Just fed the tank Ocean Nutrition Reef Pulse, my replacement for reef roids, the polyps are feeding.
I have an engineer goby, my water column is always full of bits, these guys have their polyps out all day as they know there is constantly food available!

My new addition. I got it for a keyna tree frag. I put 5 keyna tree frags on a long rock and walked away with a haloween hermit

I looked and looked only found it in Europe. Look into benapets reef. I believe its similar.

Almost all my macro is caulerpa, all my fish get to graze naturally due to the tank design and access to the display refugium, I still use a feeding rock and elastic band in the display as there are a couple of fish that don't leave the display!
Everyone should do this imo, even if only a small amount is kept in the sump.

@sfin52 I'd love to know your observations with the bubble thing on the nems. Is it just the green ones that do it? You might be right about small food. Wonder if it serves as a way to secure small live food in the wild?

When I scrape the the front of the tank or sides, benapets, roids. It seems to do that with my home made food as well. To a less extent with my home made fish food.

Yes. They are hit or miss here too.

Will I need to dose trace elements and special lighting. Right now I have a fluval 1.0 led bar and another led on the tank. I can put some 6500k if needed
