Any suggestions on how to fill in my shady spot here. It's a thoroughfare for fish in the rock so they cant hide as much and a quasi obstacle course. It's about 8 diagonnaly 6inches deep and the other spot to the bottom right is about 8 inches...by 4 inches...

Difficult to make suggest without a brief rundown of the tank. If your having good success with coral, you can try some NPS coral but are considered expert level & will require a lot of your attention & tons of reading. Examples are gorgonian, sun coral, dendros, soft corals like carnations & all the variety within that family, some acans might thrive under that shady area, sponges & I think it’s called lace stick.

Chalices, dendrophyllia, acanthophyllia, homophyllia, Tubastrea if you commit to feeding it.

Have a gorgonian, but hes proving to be high maintainance as my 1050gph wavemakers are just not enough to keep the skin/algea(?) off of him have to take my (not used as such) algea scrapper and blow it off manually. Dont mind the feeding, I give reefroids broadcast every 3 days. Had him 3 months and hes actually starting to gro a new branch...

Plus this area is kind of a cave, the upper pic. Those are 2 shelf rocks on angle one is about a foot squarish. The other is 6inch square; the wavemaker is located on the broadside of it, so it crests the rock and hits the surface, the other power head hits the surface on the other side. Read my build for info on tank to include livestock.
