Got the light up last night. This thing is heavy and bright. I had to dial it way down. Still need to hook up the Vlink to do the custom lighting via the laptop.

Let the cycle begin.

Rock structures were made with Polymorph.

This stuff is so easy to use and cheap.

Just melt in sub-boiling water.

and use to fasten rocks together.

Push some sand or rock chips in to areas that will be exposed (I was too late to do this fully)

and you have SOLID bonds.

This will be the sump, just using it so I don't scratch the display while messing with aquascaping.

The SPS came from my frag tub that has been running for close to two years. I've had a couple of test frags in the display for a few weeks and they bleached. I raised the light and change the photo-period and things looked much better. This Vertex is WAY too much for a 48x24x16 tank. I'm hoping to trade it for a couple of Radions.

Just got this (Collospongia sp.) today from LA.

Going to see if I can get it to swirl with this one I got last week (ReefBuilders pic from here: https://reefbuilders.com/2010/12/15/blue-photo-sponge-collospongia-auris/ ) Mine is purple right now as it is in lower light.

That aquascape is really cool! And the way you bonded them I've never seen before, looks like it works well. Just curious of what you're keeping your Nutrients at, more specifically your No3(Nitrates)? That acan colony is beautiful! Well done
