Shallow Frag Tank Design

The owner of a local shop designs and makes a bunch of stuff out of acrylic (Hang on back refugiums, algae scrubbers, reactors, etc. . . ). He occasionally makes tanks, but mostly smaller sizes. This if fine with me as I don't have a ton of space. I asked him about making a small frag tank and he thinks he could do it for a pretty reasonable price, he just ask me to give him the spec/design I want. He also suggested some bracing, as despite the small size he thinks overtime it may bow. Here is my design:

It will be approximately 7.5 gallons (basically a 15 gallon cut in half). What do yall think?

Does the outer rim offer support? Will it alone prevent bowing over time or is the center brace needed?

Idk about bowing if sealed/bonded correct. Thats not a lot of water weight to cause a bow in my mind. Especially with that top brace.

As for with or w/o that center im not sure. Civil engineering was the first time i dropped out of college lol. Just be cognizant of lighting and filtration needs as im sure you have.

Where would you guys drill this Tank? Thinking about doing a 1 inch bulkhead just as high up as I can mount it. I would probably lose about an inch of height, but it seems like the simplest solution
