Shallow peninsula tank: circular flow pattern

My tank is peninsula style with dimensions 135x800x57cm (53x30x21").
Overflow and return are both at the blinded side. The wave makers are also at the same side.
Below a pic. Green marked are the 2 MP40s.

I find that in between the 2 wave makers there is very little flow and also at the opposite side of the tank.

Would it be a good idea to change the position of 1 MP40 to the other side to create a circular flow pattern?

What are the pros and cons of circular flow?
Corals are mainly sps.

First of all what a nice scape you've created!!

I do think it is a better option like you suggest. The big advantage you get is a more random flow pattern.

It's just not as nice and clean looking

agreed with Polyp Lagoon. Random is good for that tank, and the aquascape you created is awesome!
