I'm planning on getting a custom built shallow reef tank built.
My basement floor consists of 5 inches of gravel, 2x4 frame with the joists 16 inches apart then a layer of vapor barrier and 5/8 plywood.
All the wood is pressure treated.
What size tank could I put on a floor like this?
I'm planning on plumbing the sump into the crawl space so it would just be display tank and it's contents and stand.
Anyone else have experience setting up a tank in a basement that isn't a concrete floors?
