So as climate change becomes more real and more people enter the hobby, using wild caught fish doesnt seem like that good of an option anymore, not to mention that it doesnt seem as ethical. However, one of the best alternatives is using captive bred fish, fish that are already used to tank life and grew up in a tank. This doesnt affect nature and, as a plus, they are usually easier to keep, like they will take food easier and wont be as scared of you. However, not many people know how to breed fish except for those freshwater livebearers. I know i already have a thread started about the importance of it , So i would like to dedicate this thread for people to share their tips and experience so that others can start breeding their fish. I personally and looking to breed freshwater bettas, saltwater clownfish, and puffers in general but still figuring everything out. Happy reading/posting!
