No sump in my Cabinet as its an AIO, mainly wires from the Hydros system.

Thank You. I really enjoy the large work space a dedicated fish room gives me. And it helps to contain my "Organized Chaos" of extra stuff I will probably never use, but you just never know.......

Is your stand something you put together? What did you use for the paneling and to affix it to the 80/20?

Thanks. It’s just the factory kit stand that comes with innovative marine tanks. This is the 200g ext.

I knew eventually if I waited I find some inspiration for what I want to do for a control panel. That is a beautiful sump/control setup. I love the layout of the controllers, modules etc. Think I am going to use inch thick pine wood. Does your control panel hinge out to access the backside? Split in the middle into 2 "doors"?

Great set up.
Managing cables is fun, but also tough. If we hide the cables to carefully, it is tough to remove it, when we need to maintenance some devices, or removing some failed devices.
My choice: I only manage cable at an acceptable level, then just close the cabinet so i will barely see the messed cables.

You're absolutely right - DEFINITELY need to think about what pieces of equipment get removed on a regular basis, and make sure their cables aren't buried in a bundle or permanently stapled to something. I use a cable clip that can be easily opened, and make sure that the cables for the equipment I want to pull out are easily accessible. Or at lease, I've tried. We'll see what happens come the first maintenance cycle!!

That is a FANTASTIC setup you have.

Is it as clean and tidy behind the board as it is in front? Mine is definitely NOT but nobody ever sees that side of the board

It’s still a work in process…

Getting all the power bricks mounted has been helping and I use Velcro ties to route the wires but it’s still a challenge. Maybe someday it will look nice but not today for sure. Lol

Yup… it’s all 1/2” HDPE but I should have gone thicker. I had to add patches to support the weight of everything mounted to the doors. If you look close you can see two buttons on the inside corners of each door. I considered wood but the HDPE is waterproof so I thought it would be a better idea.

I agree HDPE would be the better choice, but cost and availability for me will most likely mean I will have to use 1 inch thick wood panel. Pine is cheap though.
