Well they have pre installed apps in there you select the one for lps which would probably be the no so strong.

They do and I have been playing with it to see how it looks. I was just curious if anyone many have some what close set up and could share a little bit.

Yes. But I have the ability to adjust the intensity of each. So im not sure the if the presets are to bright or not. I don't want to set it up corals and stuff do great and find out that my settings are not right and damage the corals. So im trying to get close to where I'm just fine tuning

Here is my program. I'm running a bit more "white" than the blue because of how intense the blues are.

With your white being that high are you having any problems with Algae or coral growth? My LFS told me to keep my whites at 10%

Here are my settings on my 100 gal mixed reef...Chaeto refugium and octo skimmer...I had to adjust my whites down a bit due to brown algae growth covering the glass every day...Corals seem to love this light! By the way my chaeto does not tumble and it doubles in size every 2 weeks!

Here's my schedule. 2 x 90w on Reefer 350. Lights come on at 1pm and turn off at midnight. Then moonlight kicks on. I'm loving these lights so far!

I have my lights on blue 100% also. But sometimes I wonder if it’s too much. And my whites We’re only at 9%. I put it higher than that an LG starts blooming. I’m still confused with the lights I want to have The right percentages for my corals. And my fish at the same time. But I don’t want to look at bright blue and purple all day. Help

I am having great coral growth with this schedule. I have a led 50 on a 20 gal aio with about 15 corals. Upgrading to a 40g breeder and going to grab a 2nd one. I know some people had issues with these but I've had mine for 3 months and rock solid so far.

I'm running almost exactly the same, my LFS recommended 80-20 ratio blue-white.
Also turned blue to 60% white to 15-20%

Hello fellow reefers, I’m having a dilemma with my lights as my tanks not a redsea one but I did purchase two 90’s and one 160s for the middle on my 150, it’s 72x18x26 (LxWxH). What I’m having issues with is with the intensity of the light, I can’t tell if they are too much for the corals or too little, I have looked and seen the specks on redsea’s website but that I can tell it does not specify if that’s at 100% or what percentage. if I may ask For those of you using the lights for your tank.

1, how high are you mounting them from the surface of the water and how deep is your tank?

2, what intensity are you running each blue white and moonlights at? Share the specs or your program if you can please.

3, if you own a Red Sea tank with the lights, did Red Sea specify anything as to your specific tanks specs and intensity to set the lights at?

if I have learned over the years is that low light won’t feed the corals correctly but over lighting can result in burning them, I’m mostly into LPS and softies but have the 160s just in case I can and want to get into sticks. I’m Currently running both 90’s at 40 blue and 15 white and the 160 at 35B and 10W as it’s more powerful thanks to all in advance.

I have two 90's on a 300XL using the red sea mounts. I'm still trying to figure out if my intensity is too high or low. Started out at 80 blues and 60 whites but have since dropped to 60 blues and 45 whites.

At 80 blues I had some encrusting Monti's start to bleach out although I did place them high in the tank. After dropping them to 60% blues I have even had mushrooms on the bottom detach and move to shaded areas so I think they are quite strong. I bought a couple acros to test it out and have them high up in the tank and so far are doing well at 60% so will leave my schedule alone for a while. The whites are low power so have limited impact on PAR its all about the blues (90/10 power split I believe).

The red sea numbers are all based on 100% blue and white which I think might be overkill based on what I can tell. So far I'm getting decent growth at 60%. I do have a nice gold torch halfway up I'm keeping an eye on to make sure its not getting too much light. Really need a PAR meter as its hard to gauge!

Thank you guys, i actually went and rented the apogee 510 from @Bulk Reef Supply as having a 160 in the middle of two 90’s I just needed to make sure my lights where not going to cook the corals, my seneye was off by almost double based on what I’m getting on the apogee 40-50 on apogee showing 80-90 on seneye with no water movement, went with apogee numbers of course and now everything seems to be a little more happy with the extra lights as I was only getting 20 par maybe at the sand. For anyone who’s looking for adequate readings on a seneye I would suggest taking it to a local shop if they have a par meter and compare to see if yours is doing this too as it’s not corrected in some way. If not do yourself a favor and definitely rent the apogee they offer as it’s saved my corals life’s and myself some headaches bonus points the wife lives her green birds nest from @WWC and has taken a pic every day to see the growth over time, future post

I am having issues with my ReefBeat app that won’t allow me to change any intensity on the white channel except in manual mode. I’ve been in contact with Red Sea which they haven’t been able to find a solution. I’ve deleted the app and even got a new phone during this whole process and for some reason I still cannot adjust white channels. Anyway, is there a way someone can save a schedule and then send it to me to upload on my account ?

Hello reefers , I need some helping understanding the difference between Par and Pur. I have 3 Led90’s with aquatic life T5 fixture so the default Red Sea programming does not work for me. On page 3 post #51 Red Sea said that white Channel intensity is a personal preference and blue channel has been set the the correct blend for corals. So when I did my own par test with different combinations of percentages the white channel intensity had a affect on the par values. I emailed Red Sea with the same question and the gave me a response directed to PUR which I don’t understand.

What I am trying to understand is when testing par do I test blue channel only and adjust white to my liking or do by the par results that I attached below which which was combination of blue/white intensity?
Red Seas lights are to blue so I am trying to understand how much I can adjust white without having a bad affect on the coral.
