I been a fan of metal halide for the last decade and I think it is finally time to upgrade to LED. If you have an LED system for your Saltwater Aquarium that you love, please share your story.

had a garbage led system last year with t5 supplements that made me consider metal halides again.

as a last ditch effort i went with black box evergrow wifis. 1200 par at the surface.

milles grow on the sand bed (3ft down) so i am good.

I use build-in LED water filter for my aquarium and it works great

The last thing I want is a LED that isn't up to par for my aquarium. I'll take a look into the black box ever grow wifis. Thanks Russ265

Total is a little over 400$
And yes this is equivalent to 2 250w MH lamps at the same look as radium 20K lamps

Just want to throw out there. Some times switching to LEDs can be frustrating. There are tons out there. Just keep this in mind. MH are plug and play, i.e. They just work. Leds take time to find what the corals like and what you like

This is true keep a PAR meter handy!

it looks like you modeled it off ati's blue+ which is arguably the best t5 bulb

Funny because the blue is only at about 40% there are 3 different blue chips
There is no way I can run this at 100% (corals told me so)
