Here's my filter system. I had to make the stand 84" long to fit the refugium. The collection cup on the skimmer was trimmed to fit in the sump, it measures 32" tall. I have a 93gal cube with a 30 gal frag tank. Total system volume is 140 gal with the refugium and sump.

I can tell you the sump is a 30 long servicing 100 gallons of display, no baffles (aka an open tank), a custom 3" PVC inlet, ATO, two additional heaters, a power head and a protein skimmer. Plenty of room to work. Extremely flexible. [emoji3]

Mcarroll, I've seen plenty of display tanks at LFS run there filtration like what you've describe and it works for them. Thanks for sharing, now you mind post a pic?

My display is a 55g flush mounted in living room wall. Behind the display tank is my laundry room where I have a sink, ro/di system, and my sump with a makeshift worktable above it. Nothing fancy due to limited space but it works. Here are a few pics...excuse poor quality!

Those voss bottles looks good under the tank. Good idea for dosing containers

Yo Matt, how in the world did you get all that macro to grow??? Wow, I tried but failed. Had to go to mangroves.

All I do is feed the fish heavy. I have one 14000 bulb and one 10000 bulb so I kill it with light also.
