Mine is more of a simple refuge

Bump? I'm actually thinking of upgrading mine. Don't think that this refugium is handling the tanks bioload. Sick n tired of nitrates and losing corals.

Here is an old pic but things are mostly the same. I do now have a healthy crop of Red Dragon and Cheato algae. I'm about to add some mangroves as well. I'm using a CadLights PLS-150 skimmer, BR83 BP reactor, DCT4000 return, DC3000 for manifold, 4" mesh FS, Aquamedic dosser and a BRS 5" reactor for Rox 8 carbon. Kessil A160WE Tuna Sun for reverse schedule lighting. DA RKE Controller.

Here's the belly of a Red Sea reefer 450 and how I have it setup. I did have a reef octopus space saving biopellet reactor down there but took it out. Now it's just my NYOS skimmer and a couple bio pure plates. I have a large UV on it as well, lost my entire livestock to ich before :( hope this helps ya

I'll play since I have an updated photo of my sump, not nearly as impressive as most of yours. Shelf is temporary, just there until I find time to do some of the projects I have in mind to make the sump area better.
