Shark and shrimp

Me and my brother bought a 320 gallon and we want to try to get a shark but he only wants one if it doesn't eat his cleaner shrimp. I'm just wondering if it's possible to keep both.

Get Him a 10g, plumbed into the system, for his shrimp

I have one and love him but I feed him live shrimp.
