Yes,
They are currently not legal to collect on the Pacific Coast. They grow to about 4' and need a very large aquarium as a result. Cooler water Temps would require a chiller.

I built and maintained a large 16' aquarium for a commercial account with Lepard and Grey Smooth Hound sharks.
