Anyone have a tank with a shark or sharks or Rays?

Curious in how the setup... Feeding, anything else needed.

Maybe one day i will change my tank from reef to shark/rays...
My thought now is i would need to get rid of all or most of my rock/corals and have only sand?

Think i would be able to keep my large fish no? Angels and Tangs

Not something I am ready for but in case i do make the change...

I have a 150 gal 6 foot long

150 will be small for life. There are a some catsharks you can keep in their for a few years. For topical species Bali catsharks will be your best bet, marbled and coral catsharks will be good too.

If you want to do cold water chain catsharks are a good option and one of my favorite sharks. They are bio-florescent and appear to be a bright green under acetic lights.

Sharks are awesome fish. They are interactive and friendly. When my nieces and nephews come over they love petting the sharks and the sharks love to be pet. Stingrays are also awesome pets.

There are a few shark keepers here and they will more likely see this in the Predator forum.

If i did make the change, could i keep large clowns in a nem? Like maybe Maroons?
Maybe if i elevate some rocks off the sand bed with pvc or a rack of some kind?

It is always a risk that sharks will eat the fish. If you start off with a small shark and raise them together they should be fine. No need to raise the rocks, benthic sharks enjoy going into cave and exploring in between rocks. Just make sure it is stable.

I had some hasslet bamboos in a breeder basket in a tank with a few Mai Thai clownfish. The one clownfish was obsessed with the shark. Every time I took him out he would jump back in.
