Does a sharknose goby need a lid? Its been 6 months and my clowns havent jumped.

Just to be more clear, im asking if this specific type of fish is prone to jumping like a fire fish. Im not asking your opinions on having a lid.

Well I don't think most people on this thread have crystal balls, so I think the general consensus is to get a lid. All fish are capable of jumping, including the fish you're asking about. Do some fish jump more than others? Yes, but one fish of the same species can be completely different than another. Just to be more clear...
 
They are tiny, I had one jump through a 1/4 inch mesh lid.
