Like the title says, my Shawn Bennett tort went from the bright yellow/green coloration with translucent green polyps to a purple coloration in the course of a few weeks and stayed that way for at least 9 months. I have seen the mother colony in person before purchasing the frag so I have no idea why it would do such a random coloration morph. If anybody has an idea please chime in =D

6x ati sunpower w/ 4x ati blue+ and 2x coral plus (switched to giesemann 4x actinic blue and 2x aquablue coral for 2 weeks but not even a slight change in color) and bulbs are changed every 6 months religiously
once every 2 week 5 gallon water change with microbelift reef salt
2 part doser to dose alk and ca
no trace element additives
Tank temperature at 77-81 depending on season
Tank was up since October (I think? Some time late in the year) 2013
