If premixed- there should be a sticker with expiration
If it’s one you mixed- at least 90 days

Ok it's been stored for about 90 days maybe even a little less is it still ok too use and for how long?

I dont see a risk. Worse that happens is that it loses strength

Thanks alot I got it wrong before I actually mixed it myself and it's been sitting for 3 month's I dosed it just yesterday too slightly raise my alkalinity tested 30 mins later and confirmed my results so can I keep using? Is the liquid form indefinite as well?

I mix up 5 gallons at a time which lasts me over 6 months.

You don't need to worry about shelf life either dry or in a solution.

I use the same Calcium Chloride for cheesemaking too, that solution is several years old.

I once asked @Randy Holmes-Farley about this exact thing as I had concerns when one of mine(forget if it was alk or cal) had turned cloudy.

They can be stored indefinitely, as long as they are in a sealed container(they might increase in potency as water could evaporate).

As stated above they are chemically stable.

For at least as long as you keep a reef tank. Probably until the plastic jug eventually breaks down from oxidation and splits open.

Thanks for all the replies and sorry about all the questions have one more tho came out too my tank at about 10 pm last night and saw lot's of what looked like fish eggs swimming everywhere put my phone light too them and they looked red in color were landing on the glass as well but first time ever seeing them tank is 6 month's old does anyone know what they are? My clowns we're eating them I think

probably copepods. Usually good.
