So I was given a number of larger shells shortly after Christmas.. many of these are identifiably shells that were sold for the tourist trade.. they have a slight sheen to them which I assume is some type of polish. also with the stash were some large barnacles. these don't appear to have any polish.
the plan is to use these as pod hotels in both my sump and in my DT.
To clean these should I jut boil them and clean as much as possible?
what are your thoughts?
