I had this Sherman BTA for 6 months or so and it stayed in one place for a month, then started moving within the same rock and stayed again for a while, now since last week its been roaming around the tank behind in the rocks or on the tank back wall, today it came back to the center of the tank right on top of the polyp colony and its staying since morning.
Is the roaming is a reason something wrong with the tank parameters or lighting? (I haven't changed any setting or any other schedule)
does the polyp stay okay for sometime or i have to move them immediately? In general can corals could be damaged by stinging?
Tank is Red Sea 71gal, 2 years old.
checked all parameters are in range, except PO4 is 0.15 since two weeks and I see some diatom in dead areas. working on lowering PO4
FYI: I also have 2-3" green bta with stayed in same place since the beginning. the sherman is currently hosted by pair of clown.
Let me know thanks.
