Shh.... Santa came early.

So do you guys think I should run with or without a skimmer? A tunze 9001 skimmer fits in this pico no problem. What do you think?

Or just a media basket with pre filter carbon and a phosphate pad?

If it twer me...I'd stick with media. A system this size doesn't really need a skimmer if you are doing water changes regularly and cleaning your media. It's so easy and fast on a system this size! Media trays give you options that a skimmer won't...and they are less expensive to boot in this case.

Man, I am really tempted to get one of these as a gift to myself to replace my perfectly good biocube 14. I already bought myself a wwc bounce for christmas though...

You could always get one now and justify it by telling yourself that you'll cut the bounce once big enough and recoup the cost. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Thats what I did when I bought my wwc jellybean about an hour later...

How is the flow using the stock pump? I'd love to do a gorgonian rock flower anemone tank with this.

Flow is pretty good throughout the drop. I'm impressed with how much is circulating

After the holidays. I'm leaving on vacation for two weeks out of town starting today. So the last thing I want to do is to add corals yet.

The tunze Osmolator is installed but I hate the return line hose and how it's attached. I'm going to bend some 1/4" tubes tonight to make it look clean.

Hey juagermeister! I picked up this AI prime for my tank, what're you running your settings at? I have the IM Nuvo 10, I currently have my settings at 14500k all at 30 percent except 17 percent on green red and white.

I've been waiting to see a build thread on this tank. Looks good so far! I thought they wouldn't get shipped till after Christmas though.

Oh I kind of snuck into Adams shop and stole the first one off the line! I guess it helps living 20 minutes away from his shop. Lol

I hate the way tunze return line sits on a tank so a heat gun and son 1/4" tubing solves the unsightly problem.
