Hi, i just introduced the first two fishes to my tank (I recently finished cycling —about 7 weeks cycling). They are two ocellaris clownfish. I just noticed two shiny spots on the side of one of them:

I am not sure if the spots were there before and just noticed with the aquarium lights.

I am new to the hobby. Any idea of what that may be and advice on what to do? Currently the only other things I have in the tank are 10 trochus snails, no corals yet.

Thanks
Diego

That's a lot of blue light. Are you sure they're shiny spots and not white? I would definitely monitor and see if it spreads. Could be ich. Welcome to R2R by the way.

Thank you. They are white but shiny, more reflective to light than the rest of the body. I’ll monitor.
