The online store accidently shipped me a double order which included 2 x juvenile/female C. Lineatus wrasses. Can I quarantine together in a 17 gal tank with 10 gal water?

Can you say score. Yup you can qt them together. 10 gallons will work but as always the more water volume you have the better.

You must have been pretty surprised opening that box. You can quarantine them together.

Thanks! Yeah, I got two boxes of the exact same order... Lineatus, hermit crabs, and a frag. After I opened the first box, I thought, "What could be left?" It was the whole order a second time.

I have found female lineatus can be a bit aggressive. I would provide plenty of cover and keep a close eye on their interactions. Your intervention may be necessary in an extended qt.

Wow thats awesome! Like what everyone else said yes you can quarantine together just keep an eye on them.

Yeah, they should be fine, but might not be either. Keep an eye on them and use a divider to separate them if things turn.

Thanks all! So far, so good. They are actually both sharing the same pvc elbow, though I have 3 other pvc elbows in the tank. I plan on this just lasting a few days, until I can re-home one of them.
