I need some opinions on this one, the torch came in with what looks like either holes or tears in the tips. I did an iodine dip and a chemi clean dip and placed the torch in a super low flow area for now. Any ideas?

Yea that’s what I did already, was told the torch looks fine but I’m still very cautious about it.
Who did you buy from if you don't mine me asking? You don't have to answer.
I do hope it heals and doesn't get any infections. Looks very expensive.

Hope they put it better than “it looks fine”.

Did they address the marks on the torch or was the “fine” comment meant to cover that too?

I was told it looks good, nothing to worry about ,probably coloration, and told that it could be from the fact that it spawned a couple times . Not sure what happened during shipping but the torch defiantly was healthy in the pics and there’s a ton of flesh on it

TBF it looks amazing, I’m sure someone will be along to tell you exactly what those marks are and if you need to be worried or not, just a shame the vendor didn’t answer that question directly, as in what the marks are exactly not just that it will be fine.

Here’s an updated pic, torch looks good now and defiantly can see any of the tears as when it was deflated. Again I’m trying to be cautious here it was very expensive and just want it to do well. I feel that if it’s kept in low flow and my parameters are in check and if not tissue dies off in the next few day it’ll be fine.

Im pretty sure they’re tears into the tentacles themselves, it looks as if a few have torn off almost completely.

Well, if at best have some cipro or amoxicillian on hand. No, I don't know where to get the cipro anymore. For now.
Funny you mentioned it I bought some cipro for an inferno nem but never got it delivered on time but I defiantly have some on hand now!

if that is all they are then it should recover.

Was it packed well?

Again the vendor should have commented on the shipping if that was to blame, not just seemingly brush it off, if that is how it came across.

Yea response wasn’t most ideal but packaging was in a container and secured very well
