shipping coral on allegiant air

Going to reefapalooza in orlando next month. Want to see if anyone has shipped coral back with them on the plane. Flying allegiant air.

My suggestion would be to contact the airline directly. Coming from the St. Louis area?

From Springfield, well first I called them, on hold for an hour, told situation and they said no. Then went to my airport and talked to girl at counter. She said as long as the tsa is ok with it they don't care. They said if you check a bag, they don't look n it, only tsa does. So i went and talked to the manager of tsa he said they don't care and had nothing against it. he said they may open box and thAt would be it. Can even bring on carry on as long as it doesn't have more than 3.5 oz of water in each container. So should be good.

Allegiant is on the news down here every other down for something. I'd be more worried about you making it home than your corals.

The airline won't be your problem, it's Tsa who is hit or miss.

I'd buy them at rap and ship them home.
