Hello I'm new to shipping corrals to others. I bought a label that was 4 lbs dimens 12x9x6. The shipping was 130$ next day air. Another reefer just sent me a package and it was 55$ similar sizes according to him. Should I really be paying this much 130$ or am i missing something? When I calculated the cost of his package for me to send it was 110$. Is there a cheaper way? Thanks

you dont need 4lb package to ship corals. you can ship frags in shot glass sized containers i think. or jsut a little bag. what are you tryign to ship, im confused somewhat.

I shipped corrals. Even if I get it to less weight its still a lot I tried changing that. I think people must be using a third party to buy labels at a cheaper price?

I know when I sell on eBay their labels are cheaper then I can get at the post office...

I just found this too from this website. I recalculated and wow what a difference. Is it for sure a legit site?
they'll take your money if that's what you're asking. :D

I'm curious too, I just spent $88 on shipping not very far.

It depends on carrier but many especially USPS are charging for dimensions and weight which is total garbage
fedex has best for overnight and you can cheack Shipon

Not that I'm a shipping expert, but for conversations like this it might be helpful to just list out dimensions, weight, price, ship from/ship to zip code, and type of service. Easier to compare with full transparency.

I used UPS, seems most people are now but charging $45-$60 for shipping, are people just eating the difference to make a sale?

I just shipped a package using usps with a label purchased from them. No corals but was about 40% less than if I had purchased it from usps.com

This is what I’m wondering. It appears using a third party like posted does make it cheaper than using the actual shipping website.

Yea seems like a great deal to use pirate ship. I’ll have to try it next.

It’s weird fed ex overnight seems the same as next day air for ups which are priced similar.

Pirateship is great, just Google it and you’ll see tons of people use their service.

When you sign up, keep an eye out for future emails from Pirateship. They sometimes send out little “trivia” questions and stuff that will get you a discount code. Last one I got was a $10 credit, which is pretty sweet.

Theyre very close ( trying to be competetive with each other)

Using pirateship is your best bet for shipping items here and there. People who ship a lot such as businesses/ personal "small businesses" typically make deals with carriers like ups or fedex. The more you ship the cheaper you can negotiate your price with your rep.
