Just a rant...Had an order of fish shipped UPS that didn't show up today. Now I get to look forward to receiving a box of dead fish next week.
I know UPS is busy but still makes me angry.

They may or may not be dead unless the water leaked. Ive heard of fish surviving a couple days in a bag. Just be hopefull.

Tbh more retailers need to use breathable bags... yes they are a thing.

Even before COVID, best to avoid Saturday (or even Friday) delivery. Sitting in a bag over the weekend in a hot distribution center is not good. Delivery Thursday or earlier give you a better buffer against unforeseen delays.

Your best bet is to try to get in contact with the UPS distribution center for pickup. You can also have the delivery company call and request pickup from center as well.

That’s why I always make sure to request a shipping no later than Wednesday just case something went wrong with delivery I have extra day of weekdays.

Let’s hope that the fish will still be alive when they deliver.

Well it is out for delivery today so maybe they will make it through.
I do understand the thinking with scheduleing deliveries earlier in the week but Friday deliveries work best as it is the easiest day for me to get out of work for receiving the package.
Might have to rethink it after this though.
Thanks for everyone's input, I appreciate it.

Good luck, I hope they make it, but the fault here doesn't lie with UPS given the situation in the country. I'm surprised livestock is still being shipped...

Sorry that this happened to you (been there too). I know it’s playing Monday morning quarterback but this advice right here is on point~ IMHO vendors shouldn’t even offer Fridays.
