I have a couple boxes to ship and i wanted to know how shipping has been going? I use Fedex, but in general how is it working out this holiday season? Horror stories, success stories, is it mostly working out ok?

No, not been good at all! I had 2 separate deliveries botched by Fed-Ex in the last 2 weeks.
One from a private individual that got stuck in Memphis for an extra 24 hours, then held at the local hub for another 24 hours. that box was almost 2 days late and everything was DOA.
The second one from Live Aquaria was not as bad, but it was scheduled for delivery by 8am, didn't get there until 4pm.
My shipping experience lately has not been positive, so yeah kinda of mad at them right now.

If you can wait until after Jan 3, 2022, I would do so.
just got a package from nj...it arrived in concord NC on dec 2...and was "on the truck out for delivery" for 10 days...concord is 20 minutes from here...requests to co to concord to pick it up at the hub were blown off...fortunately it was nothing alive

Fed ex delayed a shipment by about 1.5 weeks.
I would look at a regional delivery company if possible. Speedee I've had great luck with.
