Shipping triton water sample in cold weather?

I would like to send out a water sample to get tested. Since the weather is so cold, do I have to worry about the water sample freezing while being shipped. Should I take any precautions while shipping it? Thank you

In extreme cases the sample tube could split if it froze but with that being said in the 10 years of us doing it we have not seen it, and that is including samples being sent from Norway and other cold places. The freezing will have no effect on the sample itself as we are not analysing anything biological.

If you are concerned then I would suggest wrapping the sample in insulating material inside the box.
