When u guys order fish online, how much do the boxes weigh typically. I know it depends on the size of the fish. I have a 5" emperor angel and 5 lyretail anthias being delivered tomorrow and the tracking info says the box weighs only 2 lbs. Definitely doesnt sound right to me. A few weeks ago i got two fish in and the box weighed 20 lbs. Interested in hearing your experiences. Thanks

Sounds light. 20lbs sounds high.

A 5" fish will be in a 12"x12"x12" box right? At least. The box and packaging should be around 2 lbs.

Yes 20 lbs is high. Nyaquatics packs a lot ofwater with their fish. This order is coming from 3to5 aquatics. Its my first order so we'll see how it goes.

A lot of times that weight you're quoting was the guesstimate before the label was printed. The actual weight will be different.

1.2 gallon of water would be 4lbs. Some places use more water in their bags and some use less. @LiveAquaria seems to use more and packs better then most.

Doesnt a gallon of water water 8 lbs? Just thought i'd ask. Yes the label was wrong. It came in this morning and weighed 30 lbs.
