Anyone in the Socal area needs to check out this shop! I stopped into this shop today after going to TGC and a few other shops in the LA/San Diego area. The display tank has some of the nicest SPS I have seen and I have seen tons of SPS throughout the past 10 years.

The kicker for me though was that I recognized some of the corals that other vendors have been selling for $400 for 1/2" frags and this shop had them for $60 for a 2" multi-branch frag! I was concerned that I would not be able to buy any since I have to head back to Spokane but the shop owner ships corals! All of the SPS was colored up and healthy, I did not see any pests on the acros. They also had a great Zoa selection, some crazy prices too- rastas were only $5 a head. I wish this shop was in Spokane, I would go every week!

I grabbed a RR Pink Cadillac frag for 1/2 of what the other online vendors have been charging, its fully encrusted and healthy!

I feel like I made out like a bandit. Be sure to ask for Daniel, he helped me out!!
They sell online and the corals in person are even better Sccorals.com

Pics from my phone - dont have the DLSR camera or any of the fancy equipment while here on vacation.

Nice! Are you doing the SD coral crawl?
I've visited a few shops but most of the sps was browned out, this was the only shop worth mentioning. I love AquaSD but they have been hit & miss for me when I go in person to shop for SPS. Most of my shopping was in LA, the shops have made a coral-triangle around the orange county freeways but if I had paid the prices they wanted and it being right after RAP it would have caused me to get a divorce.

Wish we had shops like that in the Springfield Il area. We have a really great shop just real small.

Thats basically how I feel in Spokane, WA. I was spoiled being in LA and San Diego before I moved up here. There were tons of shops and variety plus really competitive pricing. Now I only have access to 2 shops (and one is mainly fresh water) in town. Otherwise I have to pay for shipping and order coral and fish through what is posted online or drive 6 hours to Seattle or Portland. Most of the good vendors with brick and mortar shops dont keep their web pages updated with current inventory or the coral colors are off on photos.

We have a great shop in Springfield Il. they are just really small and vierity is lacking. Since they are the only good one in town they are picked over very quickly reason vierity is lacking. The next good one is over an hour away.
