Every time I put my hand in the tank I get a zap? Is it time to change the pump ....or what can I do to get rid of it

Now I'm on a cheap pump that its old and beat lol I have a bran new mag 9.5 that I'm putting in the morning the shock will mess with the corals that I have in there

Yeah I have like 2 fish in there it's a 60 gallon frag tank that I have with recordias and a few other frags so u do think that it would mess with them every time I get zapped what's in there gets zapped

Doesn't the stray voltage continue to go throught the tank even when your hand isn't in the tank? Think it could harm your fish.

Idk that's what I'm trying to figure out if it has been harming my corals and fish this whole time I'm gonna change it in the morning regardless but a buddy of mine is having the same problem so that's y I have decided to bring this u with u guys

The magnets in pumps and powerheads can put off stray voltage. I was reading around 40 volts in my tank after I added this ground probe its now zero.

Well i think you only make the connection when you have your hands In the water and feet on the floor to make that connection but i don't know my fish were still happy till i put my hands in the tank

How are your fish?

The fish look fine what worries me is the 70 Ricordeas I got in there lol and the few other frags I got

Yea that would worrie me too but i wouldn't try to stick your hands in the tank till you get that new pump in
