Haalp!!! (please). 20 gal nano 10 gal sump 10 g ATO 1 year established. Yesterday morning I purchased a hammer coral, Some GSP and a colony of some Green Button Polyps. To keep the frags from moving I drill 5/8" holes in my live rock, rinse my rocks thoroughly and place my coral bases in the holes. Towards the end of the day, I notice all my soft corals are in shock. I check temp, sg, nitrates etc. (all the good stuff) and notice that the temp has dropped 5 F' (from 78 F' to 73 F'). My heater is Broken. This morning I rushed to Walmart to buy a new heater (100w), but when i return I notice my coral beauty floating at the bottom of my tank. I got back to my usual 78 F'. It is now midnight and none of my corals will Come out of shock!!! Could that little temp change have killed my cb overnight? What could be the issue? Could my corals just still be responding to the temp changes? Any input would be appreciated!!!
