So i dont have to do kana and metro?
I don’t think medical intervention is appropriate, presuming that my identification of Lympho is validated by other experts. My initial assessment may be incorrect. Can you post a clearer picture under white light and let’s see what others think, if they agree or not?

I’m fairly confident but I’m not above 80% with the photo provided, and the presentation is a bit unusual not being on the edge of the fin.

@Jay Hemdal , or @vetteguy53081 any other expert eyes weigh in!?

For the future, please post pics under white light intensity. In lieu of fungus, this is bacterial and may have stemmed from severe pinch ort injury and should be treated in a separate tank using seachem Kanaplex which is broad spectrum.

It does look like lymphocystis. You wont need to treat for that, it will go into remission on its own.

Pictures/video under white lights would help with diagnosis. Also; how long have you had this fish, how long has I shown the tail lesion and did it grow slowly over time?

It isn’t fungus, external fungus is extremely rare in marine fish - one of the treatments for saprolegnea fungus is actually salt in the water!
