What else do you have?

No top off and doser. I have 2 radions. Should I get the apex modules for ato and doser?
Yes I think that would be a great addition. The Tunze osmolator would be a great addition. Auto dosers aren't a requirement but make life so much easier. With this investment I would also look into the leak detector or the LDK i think is what it is called.

I was thinking about that but the space is sorta limited in the stand. You can check out my build thread to see the stand.

For the auto top off or leak detector?

With a peristaltic pump connected to the ATO, you could place the ATO reservoir almost anywhere. Personally i recommend the Avast Peristaltic pump.
That’s very neat. Would it work with Neptune systems? Also can you check out my build thread and tell me anything Else i could upgrade?

The way it would work is with the salinity probe via apex and the ATO module, apex will let you know if the salinity raises or lowers and if the ATO is running or not. Plus you can program it to shut off if there were a malfunction.

I think you need some wave pumps or a gyre like the maxspect gyre. Ecotech MP40 is a sleek wave makers also. The gyres are really popular right now too. Anything else would be optional and I think you should save your pennies. Meaning, optional equipment would be carbon reactors, cheato reactors, algae turf scrubbers.

All in all I think your next purchases should be the ATO, Dosing pumps and powerheads or wave makers.

I currently have a sicce voyager 2. I was going to purchase another one. What’s the big difference between that and mp40

Huge frag sale going on... keeps crashing the site

The difference between those pumps and the sicce is they are controllable. You can create more random flow. But it's not necessary if you place your pumps right.

After looking at your tank, you might also want to get more rock.

Should I continue with reef saver rock?

That is a good question! I think that people get caught up on keeping a sterile environment free of weird pests and creatures that hitchhike on live rock. But if possible, for example, You were looking into 30 more pounds of rock, I would do 50/50 BRS reef saver and live rock. If I were shopping for live rock, I would look for the most creature rich rock you can find. Some local fish store sell rock packed with coralline, sponges, worms, fan worms, micro brittlestars etc etc. Now some of that rock can come with aiptasia, vermitide snails, asterina stars and/or unwanted crabs. To me though, it's a learning experience and it really helps with the bio diversity. Most of the pros go for live rock and skip the dry rock but it's more cost effective to mix your rock as it will seed the dry rock.

I’ve had bad experience with purchasing live rock from my lfs

I see. Well, its going to take some time for the brs rock to mature. Might even be ugly for a couple years. Kind of wish it would take 7 days, reality is its going to take awhilr. You'll get cyano, hair algae, possible chrysophytes. IME, I found dealing with pests much easier than algae.

And BRS out of MP40s
Check out the Maxspect Gyres.
