Short fat and curly torch poylps

so the past week or so my 2 torch corals have had their polyps short fat and curly. Anyone know why this is happens?

What flow do u have it in ?

Medium flow. Same flow they where in since I got them in beginning or March

IME, flow can slowly be inhibited by pumps buildup, and also by surrounding corals as they grow. In my case, torches all have top tier in my tank, as the extend for food, and potentially stinging other corals. They are not restricted flow, they get all the potential flow available. I have also had success in my SPS dominant tank, even at the bottom of the tank, but that setup offered more flow at bottom, than most provide at the top of the reef in non-SPS setups. So I would up the flow for starters

This is a chemistry issue for sure. What are your parameters

So I found out the issue. Had way to much light on my torches. Rented a par meter and the par on my torches was at 500 lol. All better now tho. Ty all for the help
