Setting up a fish tank my uncle custom built a few years ago. The problem is that the stand only has about 25” clearance space in the under compartment. Then once you add the sump it has 24 1/2”. The under compartment is broken into 3 sections so I’m even removing one of those walls so I’ll have to replace the supporting wall with some underlying 2x4s making the clearance even shorter. So any recommendations for skimmers?

Bashea can stand outside of sump on the floor and looks cool as well.I really like ours and opens up so much more sump area we wouldn't have.not much more money and one heck of a skimmer,also adds a lot more oxygen.
