Short tentacle plate coral dying?

Hey. I had picked up this plate coral 2 months ago and it was doing great for a little while but now it looks like it’s starting to recede, exposing its skeleton. Anyone know what could’ve caused this or how to fix it? First picture is from two months ago and the second is from today. Thank you.

Pictures without so much blue will make it easier to see what's going on with your coral and in order for people to give you any practical advice you should include your complete water parameters, how your testing and detailed information about your system such as age, lighting (type, intensity, schedule), filtration and any other inhabitants.. full tank pictures are also very useful.
