Shortage on Aquaforest?

Can anyone find Components 1, 2 and 3 for sale anywhere? I can not even find any retailers with KH buffer in stock. Dr. Fosters and smith has had them unavailable for months. Bulkreefsupply for been out of stock for months now too. My local LFS told me they don’t stock Aquaforest because their supplies are inconsistent.
Anyone else having issues on finding Aquaforest products?

I live in Houston, TX by the way.

I think the price is due to shortage, because BRS shows 56.99. But really don't know.

They said awhile back a shipment had made it to the US, but either that wasn't true or none of the supply made it to the major retailers?? You'd think if a supply made, places like BRS would have come back in stock. I too was planning to start mixing my own when my pre-mix components ran out but makes a person leery to continue the product line when you can get your hands on any of it when you need it.

Very sorry for this and its definitely not a question of availability of products in Aquaforest Poland.
Only thing that I can say that probably demands from the market surpassesed all expectations of US distributor and all US stock was sold out. All products should be imported from Poland and its take time. Situation will be solved soon and I'm sure that it will not happen again. Once more apologies for any inconvenience. We know how bad it is, we are working to resolve that and prevent to happen again.

I think a lot of local fish stores dropped af, I know of a few that did around my region. Some of them dont even know what aquaforest is. Probably has nothing to do with it but certainly wont help much. I hope that the us keeps getting these products though, without price increases and shortages. It happens a lot with companys like this but hopefully things get better again like when they first started shipping out here.

why are you raising the prices on AF 1+2+3+?
The price was $54 last week ($5 more than others) this week is $69?
Social media is not friendly. Please advise.

Their response:
Everyone is liquidating the brand. The distributor (DeepwaterAquatics) lost the brand and now everyone is dumping stock while they have no pricing in effect. We never had it at $54, that was BulkReefSupply. A new distributor picked it up, but it will be months until this is stable again.

Sounds like fake news there. So sad.

I can only say this my dear AF friends. I am no longer associated to the DWD team, I decided to part. AF has a great worldwide reputation, they are hobbyists, they are professional, and have a great image. I will continue to work in the background and will occasionally help out on FB and here, but am taking a much needed break. If you are a FB member, you would have seen new US shipping for ICP OES kits int he US. The new address was posted, this was my first indicator to change. I have a feeling that AF has made a WONDERFUL decision and only the best of things to come. Cheers

The distribution has been pass to CoralVue, they just redirect a container was going to the other distributor to us, so we hope we will have some inventory available middle to the end of this week.
